I would have given this item a 5 star rating, but I would have liked for them to have included additional hardware for more installation options. I ended up mounting the bracket on the only place that was thin enough for the short bolts included which was just below the seat between driver and passenger knees. I was originally planning on mounting it to the rear of the roof. I would also like to see a bracket with a deeper range of placement so that the unit can be swiveled from up to down or vice versa and allow the back wiring to clear the mounting base. I have used this item very sparingly thus far so I don't know what effect it's going to have on my run time for my golf cart (48V) should I go out on a cold day and need to run it significantly more. I still carry the propane heater as a back up should battery charge become an issue. When it's running, this heater pumps out plenty of heat right away and warms the enclosed cart right up. I do like it and so far would recommend it.

Since changing from Propane to a Electric golf cart heater this year has made a HUGE difference in my wallet and the safety of my family and friends using my golf cart.
By using the electricity off my batteries, the G200X is a safer and more functional heater then the propane. The G200X is truly a consisent warmth rather then propane being a "humid heat" and unsafe if spilled or dropped to the contact of skin.
The investment of the G200X has saved me time and money
of not having to replace canisters of propane every 3 to 4 rounds.
Thank you Heatercraft for a Superior product!! Money well spent.

Working in the golf industry for 10 years I surely have seen alot of "Gimmicks" for heating your golf carts like plastic covering for the wind, propane canisters, and low voltage entry level heaters.
Having easily assembling the G200X in 30 minutes, to my suprise the heat was consisent and plenty warm for my 4 hour round. The G200X makes golfing alot more enjoyable in the Northwest in the winter times.
